Virginity and Traumas

The anxiety build up related to sex when we are teenagers becomes somewhat pushy. Adolescents are used to think about sex several times a day, and this issue starts to take centerstage in their lives, before their very first sexual intercourse and after, too. When a teenager does not lead such an active sexual life, masturbation can be the solution for all his bodily necessities. This kind of practice seems quite normal among teenagers and it could be considered their first sexual activity.

Virginity and sex are profoundly discussed by adolescents. Many of them feel ashamed of asking and clarifying their doubts, what can result on a problematic and sometimes traumatizing first experience. Usually, teenagers seem to hold their friends as their mirrors and owners of the truth; they almost never listen to their parents’ advices. Although millions of youngsters have this kind of behavior, they seem rather incline to search for reliable information regarding sex and its consequences. Media, constantly, bombs kids’ minds with health advertisements about STD’s (Sexually Transmitted Diseases), like AIDS and premature pregnancy, and how it can affect the youth’s lives.

Would not it be a very traumatizing experience if a virgin teenager has sex for the very first time and contract, for example, genital herpes? It would be nothing if compared with some more serious disease, like AIDS, for example. This last STD can, in the worst off mode, interrupt someone’s life, and just for a sully thing like not using preservatives. Pregnancy, by the way, can make someone goes bypass this fascinating phase so-called adolescence and youth altogether. Nobody, when adolescent, is able to take care of a new life, which needs all cares and full attention.

A virgin teenager can only have his first sexual experience when all his doubts are solved, regarding his body anatomy, STD’s, pregnancy and safety. Of course, most adolescents practice sex without the faintest idea of what they are doing, what can, sadly, teach them lessons, to never again, do something without seeking out information and clarifying doubts. Teenage can be the most exciting age we will experience, but all care is less.
